TTI ALGECIRAS Welcomes Military Delegation Ahead of Key Logistics Event In anticipation of the "Logistics Connectivity" event organized by Confederación de Empresarios de Córdoba (CECO) today at Autoridad Portuaria Bahía de Algeciras - Port of Algeciras, 👉  https://lnkd.in/dcd5DzD2 TTI ALGECIRAS, welcomed a military delegation to showcase the port's advanced container handling and logistical operations, highlighting the integration possibilities between civilian #portoperations and the strategic initiatives of the new Army Logistic Base in Córdoba (BLET). This high-tech project is set to enhance logistic efficiency across military operations by incorporating cutting-edge technologies such as #robotics, #AI, #3Dprinting, and #virtualreality. The future Córdoba Spanish Army base will centralize the maintenance activities of military equipment, consolidating twelve logistic units previously spread across nine locations into just two facilities: a dedicated helicopter maintenance site in Madrid and a general logistics hub in Córdoba. The base is designed to reduce service times and infrastructure needs significantly. Upon completion, it will employ around 600 military personnel and 1,100 civilians, streamlining operations and setting a new standard for military maintenance and logistic efficiency. #EjércitodeTierra

This achievement underscores the Port of Algeciras Bay's commitment to operational excellence and efficiency, solidifying our position as a key gateway for global maritime trade in Southern Europe.
