🚀🌟 Exciting News! 🌟🚀
We are beyond thrilled to share a major milestone in our journey with the "Barbie" project with UCA&AIR, the final aeromodel prototype result of a meticulous design and manufacture over the past academic year. Our team’s hard work and dedication culminated in an outstanding performance at the national competition XtraChallenge, where we proudly secured 3rd place over 17 participants! 🥉
The "Barbie" aeromodel proved to be one of the most consistent contenders throughout the competition. This consistency is a testament to the precision and effort that went into every phase of its development, from the initial design sketches to the final touches on its construction. Our aeromodel not only showcased exceptional aerodynamics and design but also demonstrated remarkable resilience under challenging conditions.
During the competition, we encountered significant hurdles, including two accidents caused by unexpected strong winds. These incidents required quick thinking and swift action from our team, leading to necessary repairs and adjustments. Despite these setbacks and the lack of sleep hours, our aeromodel emerged stronger and more resilient, ultimately securing a top position in the national rankings. This achievement highlights the robustness of our design and the reliability of our engineering solutions. ✏
This success story would not have been possible without the incredible dedication and tireless efforts of our talented team members. We extend our deepest gratitude to our Team Leader Irene Molina Chicón, as well to the Aerodynamics and Design departments. Your innovative thinking, attention to detail, and relentless pursuit of excellence were crucial in navigating the challenges we faced and achieving this remarkable feat.
The Aerodynamics department, which I can really talk of, played a vital role in ensuring that our aeromodel could perform optimally in various conditions, while the Design department's creativity and precision brought our vision to life. Together, your collaboration and hard work have made "Barbie" a standout project that we can all be immensely proud of.
We also want to thank everyone who supported us throughout this journey, including our mentors, sponsors, and colleagues. Your encouragement and belief in our project kept us motivated and focused on our goals.
This accomplishment is a stepping stone for our future endeavors, and we are excited to continue pushing the boundaries of innovation and excellence in aeromodeling. As I transition from my role as Aerodynamics Coordinator to Head of the Design Department, we look forward to new challenges and opportunities to showcase our skills and creativity. 🌠
Thank you once again to everyone involved. Let’s keep soaring to new heights! 🛫
