Changes in Fiskars Group’s Leadership Team In a stock exchange release published today, Fiskars Group announced its plans to separate its two Business Areas into independent operations and legal entities. The two operationally independent companies will be headed by their own CEOs. Dr. Steffen Hahn, currently Executive Vice President, Business Area Fiskars, has been promoted to the role of CEO of Fiskars. Christian Bachler, currently Executive Vice President of Business Area Vita, will be leaving Fiskars Group after working for the company since 2010. He will step down from his role on 1 November 2024. In addition to her role as Fiskars Group’s President and CEO, Nathalie Ahlström will take on the position of CEO, Vita on an interim basis until the new CEO of Vita is appointed. “Separating the Business Areas into independent operations and legal entities is a key step on Fiskars Group’s transformation journey. With it, we are completing our 'brands first' approach. Christian Bachler has been instrumental in setting this move in motion. I want to truly thank him for his dedication and many contributions during the 14 years in the company, first in Business Area Fiskars and then in Vita. He has made a lasting impact and overall a brilliant career at Fiskars Group. We wish him the very best for the next steps in his career,” says Nathalie Ahlström. “With the company taking this transformational step, the time has come for me to pursue opportunities outside of Fiskars Group. Our fantastic brands will stay in my heart forever, and I would like to take this opportunity to express my warm thanks to all my dear colleagues across the company,” says Christian Bachler. ➡️ Read more about these and other changes in the Fiskars Group Leadership Team: https://lnkd.in/eau9KXzZ #FiskarsGroup

Fiskars Group completes 'brands first' approach 🔸 In line with its strategy, Fiskars Group plans to separate its two Business Areas into independent operations and legal entities. The new organization is expected to be effective starting on 1 April 2025, with the legal entity structure completed by the end of the first quarter of 2026. “Since we started our transformation journey in 2021, we have focused on transformation levers to strengthen our foundation for growth and have significantly improved our cost efficiency. We have moved from a centralized, matrix structure into a ‘brands first’ approach where the Business Areas have accountability for their performance. Separating the Business Areas into operationally independent companies is a key step on this transformation journey,“ says Fiskars Group’s President & CEO, Nathalie Ahlström. “The two Business Areas have different strategic growth opportunities and investment needs. This new decentralized structure will improve our flexibility and speed of execution. Critically, it will bring us closer to the consumer – a fundamental requirement for our innovative, design-driven brands. This move will further enable us to build the key capabilities, strengthen motivation and the engagement of our employees in each brand.” ➡️ Read more about the planned changes in our Stock Exchange Report: https://lnkd.in/eCxNf5MX #FiskarsGroup

Finnish nature is a manifestation of opposites. The special light of Finland and the mythical time of the year when the sun barely rises above the horizon, Kaamos, has inspired our brand IITTALA’S new AW24 collection. Kaamos is the second collection under the creative helm of Janni Vepsäläinen, Iittala’s Creative Director: “The collection celebrates Iittala’s rich heritage and the craftsmanship of our own glass factory. Iittala represents the convergence of art, design, and craftsmanship. As an integral part of the brand’s creative vision, we are reinforcing our commitment to art and craft, cherishing our heritage as a pioneer in glass, and bringing the Iittala glass factory and its artisans to the forefront of the brand and its creative core.” The Kaamos collection includes both archival pieces and new designs and colourways, blending art objects with everyday items: ◼️ The Pallas (1969) and Arnica (1974) vases and the Ice Floe platters (1976) are all designed by Tapio Wirkkala. The collection also brings back the exquisite Kanto vase, an artistic expression of Wirkkala’s deep connection to nature. ◼️ Iittala also reintroduces three precious objects from Timo Sarpaneva’s i-glass series, originally designed in the 1950s, as a limited edition available until the end of 2024. The Bird bottle (1956) in two different shapes and the i-glass bowl (1958) return in elegant moss green, mouth-blown at the Iittala glass factory. ◼️ Additionally, two Birds by Toikka – Long-eared Owl and Leppäinen bird, designed by Oiva Toikka – make a comeback in new green colourways. ◼️ As a new design in the collection, Iittala introduces a woolen blanket that embodies the extra warmth needed for the season. ➡️ Discover the Kaamos collection online at: www.iittala.com #iittala #FiskarsGroup #design
