🎉 𝗔 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗘𝗿𝗮 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝗹𝘂 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹! 🎉 On October 23rd, Oulu University Hospital celebrated its grand opening with inspiring speeches from 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗯𝗯 and regional leaders, who shared the hospital’s ambitious vision to become the smartest hospital in the world by 2030. President Stubb emphasized not only technology but also the critical role of 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀 in delivering compassionate care. The festivities included a memorable ribbon-cutting, led by President Stubb and 𝗞𝗮𝗶 𝗣𝗮𝗷𝗮𝗹𝗮, Regional Council Chair, with surgical instruments provided directly from the hospital's operating theatre. The event also featured blessings from Bishop 𝗝𝘂𝗸𝗸𝗮 𝗞𝗲𝘀𝗸𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗼 and heartfelt speeches from regional leaders 𝗧𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶 𝗧𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶 and 𝗜𝗹𝗸𝗸𝗮 𝗟𝘂𝗼𝗺𝗮. 🏥 The new Buildings A and B will offer 𝟮𝟰/𝟳 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲, 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘆, 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀. With Building F set for 2025, this €1.6 billion project represents a transformative step forward for Finnish healthcare.
