Did you know that our board and paper machine innovations are tested and developed at Valmet's Paper Technology Centers? 💡 The most recent innovation in surface sizing, hard nip sizing with curtain application, was created by our research and development experts in Valmet’s Paper Technology Center in Järvenpää. Unlike in other sizing methods, in curtain sizing the starch is applied in the form of a curtain on hard rolls and then pressed to the web. A new modern office building opened at the heart of Tikkurila, Vantaa, Finland! 💚 "Valmet has over 225 years of industrial history and a strong track record of continuous improvement and renewal in various ways. The new premises in Tikkurila mark a new era in Valmet's operations in Finland. The modern facilities and good transport connections make the Tikkurila building an important meeting place for us, both internally and with our customers," says Aki Niemi, Head of the Services business line, Valmet.
