Here's a wonderful option to reduce plastic and waste from polluting our rivers and reaching our beaches – TrashBoom Pacific - an initiative that intercepts plastic and debris before they reach the ocean. Funded by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, the initiative aligns with the Government's efforts to tackle urban pollution and protect waterways for future generations. With a recent installation at Nabukalou Creek already making an impact, TrashBoom Pacific is now looking to expand its efforts to other key river locations in Fiji.
