The air connectivity provided to these communities generates $134 billion in economic activity annually. These regional airports directly create employment opportunities for 1 million individuals, contributing $36 billion in wages. [Actus] Air Tahiti poursuit le renouvellement de sa flotte ✈️ Nous sommes ravis d’annoncer la signature d’un contrat d’achat pour 4 nouveaux ATR 72-600 avec le constructeur d’avions ATR. L’officialisation s’est faite le mercredi 24 juillet, lors du salon aéronautique de Farnborough (Royaume-Uni). Cette commande s’ajoute à l’achat d’un ATR 72-600 durant le Singapore Airshow en février dernier. Ainsi, le premier appareil rejoindra la flotte en décembre 2024, suivi de 4 autres ATR 72 qui arriveront respectivement en 2025, 2026, 2027 et 2028. Cela portera à 5 le nombre de nouveaux appareils qui intégreront la flotte dans les 3 ans à venir, dans le cadre de la modernisation continue de celle-ci.
