[🔵press release] Rise Air pioneers the ATR -600 series entry into Canada! 🎉 The 100 per cent Indigenous-owned airline upgrades its fleet with three new ATR 72-600 fitted with PW127XT engines, bringing high reliability, lower maintenance costs and a remarkable 45% reduction in CO2 emissions vs similar-size regional jets. The ATR 72-600's outstanding performance and reliability make it the perfect choice for the diverse and challenging conditions where Rise Air operates, including extreme weather conditions up to -45°C. Rise Air’s commitment to the ATR -600 series is the largest investment the airline has made in its 69-year history and the biggest step to date in its fleet renewal programme. This agreement positions Rise Air as Canada's launch customer for the aircraft type, set to operate the most modern regional aircraft fleet in Canada, for enhanced connectivity across Saskatchewan’s north to Saskatoon, Prince Albert and beyond.
