    🥖 Baking with Lesaffre First CSR Day for Marketing Team! 🌍   We are proud to have hosted our very first Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Day, focusing on sustainable development and today’s challenges. The day began with an insightful presentation on sustainability from Anne FOVET - Networkcoeur, then a presentation of the Group's CSR strategy and related actions with Jerome Ronze and Karine DELAFAYE, followed by an inspiring panel discussion with key partners: Nele Van Malderen from La Lorraine Bakery Group, Aurélie Girard de Vasson from the FEB, and Antoine Bernabe from Arterris Meunerie.   In the afternoon, we spoke about internal Lesaffre initiatives before employees took action to identify concrete CSR actions that will shape our commitments.    At #BakingWithLesaffre, we believe sustainability is everyone’s responsibility, and we all need to be mobilized in our respective roles. It’s essential to listen to our employees, as well as to the partners and clients we collaborate with. By opening our CSR reflection to external perspectives, we can strengthen our approach.     Our Baking Center™ Teams around the world are supporting CSR Actions. 👉Let's have a look at a long-term initiative launched in Chile, aimed at supporting inclusion through baking 🤝🏽In Chile, 1 in 5 people are said to be in a precarious situation due to their state of health or disability. Promoting the ability of disabled people to work is therefore a major challenge. Lesaffre has made a commitment to the Apertura para el Mañana (Opening to Tomorrow) association to strengthen the bakery training it provides to people with DOWN Syndrome, as part of its inclusive academy. 🚀Our bakery experts have created a "bonus" module to reinforce this training and are helping to promote it to our local professional network to increase the chances of integration for these willing and hopeful disabled people. 📆A 3-year support program is planned to ensure optimum impact. #csractions #bakingcenter #50yearswithbakers #helpinglocalcommunities

    Discover the sensory preferences of consumers in 13 countries worldwide with Lesaffre sensory Team! 🌍🍞 👀 Consumer preferences are driving tomorrow’s products. At Baking with Lesaffre, we're on a mission to uncover the sensory preferences that will shape the future of baked goods. Our global sensory team recently conducted an extensive study with 1,518 consumers across 13 countries to reveal the sensory profiles of the most popular bread types. Using the advanced PrefMap method and predictive AI modeling, we've identified the ideal sensory profiles that drive the highest consumer liking. This crucial insight will guide our product innovation and recipe development to ensure we're delivering the flavors and textures that consumers crave.😋 But we didn't stop there!     Our Baking Center™ Teams around the world are supporting CSR Actions. 👉Let's have a look at the great upcylcing project "La Pinte Perdue", that the French teams from Lesaffre International have come up with. Thanks to our partnership with a local Belgian brewer, we are now able to transform our bread wastes into beer ! 🍺   This innovative project has many great aspects: Ecological 💧: 30 liters of water are saved to produce this bottle of beer. To produce 1 kg of malt, you need more than 500 liters of water. Local📍: This beer is brewed 20 km away from our Baking Center™ of Marquette-lez-Lille. Upcycling♻️: To obtain one bottle of La Pinte Perdue, Lesaffre recycles 60g of bread from clients' trials made in Lille Baking Center™. Authentic🍺 : This beer obtains its fruity notes after 7 weeks of fermentation of Yeast Saf-Ale S-04 from Fermentis By Lesaffre.   #CSRactions #bakingcenter #50yearswithbakers #upcycling #savetheplanet
