Blunomy has a long-standing track record in grid-scale and behind-the-meter storage. We've now embedded some of that expertise into ORBIT—a powerful digital tool that models storage revenues with cloud-based computing. ORBIT helps investors, developers, and lenders optimise projects, build investment cases, and assess risks with speed and flexibility. With France introducing innovative new network tariffs for batteries in withdrawal and injection zones, we used ORBIT to analyse their impact over a three-year period (August 2025–August 2028). Our findings? A notable shift in battery behaviour during winter as they capitalise on day-ahead market revenues and negative tariff rates. The result: an annual revenue boost of 6% to 13% compared to standard tariffs. Exciting times ahead for battery storage in France, and useful learnings for other jurisdictions looking to boost battery deployment! #EnergyStorage #FutureofEnergy #BatteryStorage #RenewableEnergy

🌱 Last week Blunomy's Kevin Low spoke at the 2nd Low Carbon Fuels Summit in Singapore hosted by the Centre for Management Technology!   Kevin showcased our biofuel feedstocks mapping methodology—already applied in Australia and Europe—as we expand into Asia’s markets. He also chaired Day 2 and moderated a lively panel on feedstock availability with experts from Byufuel, Marquis Energy Global Pte. Ltd., Hanwa Co., Ltd., and the U.S. Grains Council (Manish Marwaha, Dora B., Cheulsoo Park, Chris Markey).   It was a fantastic opportunity to engage with industry leaders driving the future of low-carbon fuels across Asia and beyond.
