This World Cancer Day, we recognize the power of collaboration between public and private organizations allowing to build trust, confidence and engagement within the cancer care ecosystem. 🎢 “After being diagnosed with cancer, a patient enters an emotional and procedural roller coaster,” explains Charles Helsper when introducing the Best Onco Care initiative. 👉So, how can we make sure patients feel fully empowered regarding their treatment journey? 💪 With support from Danone Ecosystem, NFK, UMCU, and Nutricia gathered forces to address this challenge through the “Best Onco Care” initiative. Together, they implemented a "Shared-Decision Making" approach to cancer care in the Netherlands. The objective is for patients to be aware that they can receive explanations about treatment options, and have time to make informed decisions about their care. The outcomes: - They trained 700+ Oncologists, general practitioners and onco-nurses! - And informed and supported 57,000+ patients! #worldcancerday #Cancer

We are delighted to join the Advancing Women for Resilient Agricultural Supply Chains (AWRAS) initiative! 🌱 By joining this new public-private partnership, we are going the next mile in our Danone Impact Journey, expanding the work we have started with smallholder farmers, notably in Africa, to build a local dairy supply chain.
