Creating the first carbon negative fiber
À propos
The textiles industry is responsible for more emissions than those of all international flights and maritime shipping combined. Fairbrics is a company that gives fashion brands and their customers the power to make our world greener for the next generations. We are using CO2 waste to manufacture virgin synthetic fabrics instead of using fossil resources. Together they are making possible what was a dream yesterday: making sustainable fabrics out of thin air! If you are looking for an environment where your technical skills will translate into a positive impact in the real world, join the adventure at jobs@fairbrics.co.

🌟 Fairbrics Company Spotlight 🌟 Did you know that the fashion industry accounts for 5% of global greenhouse gas emissions? Fairbrics is revolutionizing the textile industry by creating the first carbon negative fiber material. How it works: 1️⃣ CO2 is captured from industrial sources such as DAC or point source carbon removal technologies. 2️⃣ The CO2 is reacted with a catalyst and solvent to produce chemicals used in polyester synthesis. 3️⃣ The chemicals are polymerized to form polyester pellets, which are spun into yarn and then into fabric. Fairbrics' patented process creates high-quality polyester fiber from waste CO2, achieving a significant reduction in the carbon footprint compared to conventional polyester. 🌱 For every ton of fabric produced, approximately 0.8 tons of CO2 emissions are prevented! 🤝 Fairbrics is already collaborating with major brands including H&M to integrate carbon negative fibers into mainstream fashion, pushing the industry towards a greener future. And that’s not all: Fairbrics' mission extends beyond textiles. Their technology also produces sustainable packaging materials and cleaner chemical production methods.
