    Building an accurate, low-latency, and multilingual engine in-house is a complex and resource-intensive task. Real-time models require more computing power and may struggle to produce accurate output immediately due to limited context. To build it, you’d need extensive expertise in language understanding, real-time data handling, and continuous optimization and maintenance. Gladia Real-Time API allows companies to bypass these challenges: • it combines speech recognition and GenAI to provide real-time transcription, at latency as low as 300 milliseconds, • supports 100+ languages interchangeably, • includes embedded custom vocabulary, NER and sentiment analysis, • is compatible with all existing tech stacks and protocols, including SIP, VoIP, and FreeSwitch. To ensure a consistent, real-time flow of information, we rely on advanced streaming capabilities and use a combination of WebSocket and VAD technologies.     J'ai eu un véritable coup de coeur pour cet entrepreneur. On s’est rencontrés il y a un an avec Jean-Louis. Sa startup Gladia a développé une technologie capable de transcrire des conversations en temps réel dans plus de 100 langues avec une précision sans égale, il a un meilleur « word error rate » que des scale-up expertes ou les big tech 👏 Il est donc sur un marché global. Passé par Auchan (CTO) et OVH (en charge de la data et de l’IA), il a su depuis attiré les fonds les plus prestigieux comme Sequoia Capital, XAnge, GFC, ou Motier Ventures. Les clients sont aussi au RDV et se compte par dizaines de milliers, parmi eux Alan, Mojo, Brut, Ausha, Webedia, Jellysmack etc. Il y a quelques jours, on a enregistré un épisode de tech 45' (lien en com 🎧) dans lequel on aborde pas mal de sujet chauds = → la réglementation européenne et les risques qu’elle fait peser 👎🏻 → son avis « contrarian » sur les valorisations dans l’IA 🫣 → sa dernière levée (16M$) 💸  → quelques belles anecdotes (de nous 2 👀) Jonathan Soto  Alexis du Peloux Nicolas Essayan Julien Chaumond Emmanuel de Maistre Gabriel Hubert Clem Delangue 🤗
