Our vision
IKOS was created in 2005, inspired by two engineers with a passion for railway and the desire to create a new type of consulting company. Today we are a specialized, innovative, and international group, established in 13 countries with 1,600 engineers. IKOS provides customers with offers that are tailored to their projects that include: expertise and technical assistance, skills centres, work packages and innovation, training and R&D strategy.

IKOS is continuously expanding worldwide through strategic acquisitions while developing their offers. In 2021, IKOS acquired Aegis, an English consulting company based in Derby, London and Madrid. In 2024, IKOS acquired Alcapem, a manufacturing company that designs and develops subassemblies for locomotives, switchboards, and cabinets; as well as BPS Deployment consulting company, specialized in TCMS, signaling, and predictive maintenance, to reinforce its presence on the Italian market.
