SPACE NEEDS MORE BIG-PICTURE THINKING ...AND IAF WILL LEAD BY EXAMPLE   For more than seven decades, the International Astronautical Federation has played a key role in connecting all space people, and in our modern days of the dynamically evolving space sector, this role has become ever more complex and important. We live in an age of new possibilities and motivations that significantly broaden the spectrum of less traditional stakeholders contributing to the global space sector and benefiting from its achievements. They all play an increasingly important role in drawing the big picture of space activities. That is why the IAF is launching a new initiative that will significantly expand our understanding of the space community and stakeholders to engage. „Space: the Big Picture“ will connect leading relevant non-space players with the IAF and the global space community in general. It will link the „traditional space“ with a broad spectrum of entities impacting the global space economy and exploration, such as: 🦾 large tech companies 💸 financial institutions 🌳 organizations working in areas of sustainability and security 📡 key customers of satellite data solutions 💬 and many others to foster new partnerships, generate cross-sectorial synergies, and grow the IAF’s network. I look forward to working on this important new initiative supporting Sustainability, Investment, and Security agenda of the IAF President Clay Mowry together with a stellar group of space experts and leaders Agnieszka Lukaszczyk, PhD, Carissa Bryce Christensen, Masami Onoda, Peng Zhao, Tejpaul Bhatia & Victoria Samson. Are you aware of a leading global non-space stakeholder that should be part of such a platform? Do not hesitate to let us know!
