Insights from 🌱 #COP16- IFA hosted a dialogue yesterday on Place Québec, dedicated to the tools, policies and incentives that can support the transition of agriculture towards nature-positive food production. Moderated by IFA CEO Alzbeta Klein, CFA Klein, this discussion touched on the role of government in embedding biodiversity in agricultural policies while maintaining food security objectives and providing strong incentives to farmers to adapt their practices. It also focused on the need to scale innovation for more precision agriculture to reach nature goals; the need to consider innovation and technology in a systemic way; connecting farmers to value chains; and encouraging the private sector to invest in this green transition.
