A real pleasure to have been part of the Nortek Days 2024! 🌊   Yesterday, #IVM Technologies participated to the second edition of Nortek Days at the Plein Sud Hotel in #Hyères.  Our staff had the opportunity to show some of the advanced results we are working on through a 15 min presentation: "Vision based underwater navigation: How to improve autonomous close-range inspections" was a great success! 🎯 The amount of questions and interest show that underwater vision is truly a high focus point in the subsea industry.   We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to #Nortek for flawlessly organizing this event and allowing us a presentation spot.   We were thrilled to share our innovations in 3D modeling and demonstrate how they are transforming autonomous subsea inspections. Another succesful ROV integration for IVM products. 👍   We are happy to share the recent collaboration with Deep Trekker Inc. to demonstrate the performance of the HYDRO 100 combined with the famous REVOLUTION ROV.   By providing real-time 3D reconstruction of various subjects, and despite some very limited visibility conditions, the IVM #SLAM solution once again proved to be a strong navigation aid and survey progress follow up tool ! #IVM staying in touch with the field and supporting its customers🔍   On our journey to widen the use of high accuracy subsea #photogrammetry in all industries, IVM recently performed an on-site consulting for SATIF OA Ouvrage d'Arts, subsea inspection and underwater work service company, during their inspection job of the cofferdams at the renowned Barrage de l’Aigle ran by #EDF. The use of #3D modeling by subsea photogrammetry ensured a safe, high-precision and efficient inspection of the asset, resulting in a high added value inspection for #EDF through vast maintenance savings. And if you are wondering : YES the turbidity was awful YES the visibility was more than challenging (polite way to say it) NO it wasn't an "easy" survey YES the 3D modeling worked fine and looks great YES all parties were impressed with the results Do you have similar projects? A look back at SubseaTech's open days in #Marseille! Who was attending ?   Once again we had the pleasure of taking part in SubseaTech's open days, which were held in glorious sunshine at the Port de l'Estaque. It was a great opportunity to see SubseaTech's expertise in subsea inspection. 🌊   During this show there were a several demonstrations of their solutions. We were especially proud to assist in the demonstration of our #Hydro300 product integrated into their #miniTortuga #ROV. This system optimizes underwater inspections, providing precision and efficiency during any underwater asset surveys. Supporting the preservation of #Gorgonians in the #Mediterranean Sea with subsea 3D modeling solutions 📸 #IVM recently supported a survey of gorgonians in the Mediterranean Sea with NGO Septentrion Environnement.  This initiative aims at protecting the precious red gorgonian populations, which are essential to marine biodiversity. 🌿 Using the Hydro 100 integrated on a BlueROV2, these surveys helped the divers to plan, prepare and highly optimize closed-circuit dives at depths exceeding 50 meters, thus reducing bottom time while covering more area all while minimzing human risk.   The results are quite impressive: 🔵 Detailed mapping of red gorgonian populations : Our 3D models enabled precise identification and analysis of the distribution and health status of the gorgonians. 🔵 Optimization of demographic studies : The precision of our technology facilitated the comparison of gorgonian populations across different sites, identifying those with the most significant gigantism and those most affected by recreational fishing and anchoring. We would like to thank Septentrion for their trust and collaboration.
