LACROIX Defense Presents New range of Submarines launched devices (Signalling or decoying) with upgraded performances & safety #Lacroix devices are used by submarines as a means of signalling or identification with respect to aircraft or surface vessels. They are also used to transmit, according to NATO codes for example, information about simulated attacks by the submarine. Finally, they can be used to transmit a distress message by means of a red star rocket. Decoy bombs are used to generate a false sonar echo, in order to disrupt the detection of a surface vessel, a submarine, a helicopter's hardened sonar or a torpedo. Initially developed by arsenals, these highly technical pyrotechnic products have been part of Lacroix's product portfolio for over 20 years.
