#Industry | Women represent around 30% of world's industrial workforce, but less than 25% of management positions, according to the International Labour Organization. Our industry faces a critical challenge: advancing together towards greater gender diversity in industrial careers. To participate in this transformation, LACROIX is involved to networks, initiatives, and partners: ✅ Encouraging young girls to choose scientific and technological careers with the Elles bougent association ✅ Developing technological and entrepreneurial skills of middle and high school girls by supporting the Technovation Girls France educational program ✅ Mobilizing men and women in industry for diversity through the Industri’Elles collective ✅ Fighting ordinary sexism in the workplace with the #StOpE initiative ✅ Supporting our female employees in moving into management roles, facilitating networking and mentorship through our internal Women at LACROIX program This challenge concerns the entire tech and industrial sector, from schools to management, and requires us to move our organizations forward to improve equal opportunities, fairness, and diversity. 🔗Read more about feminizing technological and managerial careers in the industrial sector: https://lnkd.in/eee6isJD

#MobilityPlan | Rethinking our transport systems to promote more eco-friendly mobility is at the heart of our positive impact strategy. To move forward in this direction we launched a mobility plan for all our sites in 2023! This mobility plan aims to help employees adopt a more conscientious approach to travel by implementing tools to encourage the use of soft means of transport. Here are a some examples of actions we put in place in our French sites: - The provision of a carsharing system with the BlaBlaCar Daily application (+2100 journeys made and 5438kg of CO2 saved in 2023) - A sustainable mobility package in partnership with Swile, which rewards kilometers traveled by bicycle - Discounts on public transport tickets in Nantes Métropole and Rennes Ville et Métropole . 🎯 By 2030, we aim to extend sustainable mobility actions for 100% of our international sites to enable as many of our employees as possible to have access to a more environmentally-friendly mobility.

#CSR | How does technology impact the ecological transition? The digital sector now accounts for almost 4% of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions worldwide, twice the footprint of the aviation sector. However, digital technologies are essential to the ecological transition: • #IoT, #Robotics and #AI can improve energy management in all sectors and promote many low-emission technologies • More than 2/3 of the UN SDGs can benefit directly from them At LACROIX, we don't believe that the solution to the ecological crisis is purely technological, but we are convinced that technology is essential for addressing environmental and societal challenges. As a technology and industrial company, we need to focus on applications that make the greatest contribution to the ecological transition. Our commitment to useful and eco-designed technology is a core component of our positive impact strategy. To achieve this, we have set ambitious, time-bound, quantified and public objectives. Today, we are reaffirming our commitment to #useful and #ecodesigned technology by transparently highlighting the actions we have taken in recent months such as ...: • Impact Score deployed in all our businesses to assess the proportion of impact products in our sales • Tool to quantify the environmental benefits of our products (avoided CO2 emissions…) • #ACT initiative (currently being set up) with a 2025 target submission to SBTi • "CSR Suppliers' Day" dedicated to our responsible purchasing policy at the end of 2024 ... and other impactful actions and projects to be discovered in our interactive document ✨

#BreizhCamp2024 | Retour sur notre première participation à l'événement incontournable de la Tech rennaise … Et nous n’avons pas été déçus ! Nous avons profité de cette occasion pour rassembler les différentes forces R&D du Groupe, principalement concentrées dans le bassin rennais. Plus de 25 de nos collaborateurs des équipes R&D et RH ont ainsi eu la chance de vivre cette expérience, sous le thème de Star Wars. 🌌 Ces trois derniers jours ont donc été intenses entre : ➡ Participation à de nombreuses conférences sur des sujets variés : IoT embarqué, IA, écoconception, architecture, data, … ➡ Rencontres avec des passionnés de la Tech qui partagent notre mission : contribuer au développement d’écosystèmes de vie plus durables grâce à des technologies connectées utiles, robustes et sécurisées.
