For me International Women’s Day is a day to reflect, and to celebrate achievements and contributions of women worldwide and the progress that has been made in advancing women's rights and empowerment. It also acknowledges the work that still needs to be done to achieve true equality in all aspects of society. How do you inspire inclusion? Set an example by demonstrating behaviours that reflect respect, empathy, and acceptance for everyone. Your actions can inspire others to prioritise diversity and inclusion in their own lives. What career advice would you share with others? Surround yourself with mentors, and peers who can offer guidance, support, and encouragement but believe in yourself and your abilities! It’s also important to prioritise self-care and maintain a healthy work-life balance. In her, I see the future—a strong-minded individual sharing her birthday with a day that symbolizes such strength and potential for women around the world. The exhilarating ascent of women 🚀 in these once male-dominated sectors is not just inspiring but revolutionary. They are not merely filling roles; they are redefining them and, in doing so, helping to reshape the future of our industries. The stories of women surmounting obstacles, defying stereotypes, and ascending to the pinnacle of leadership within engineering and manufacturing ignite a fire of inspiration 🔥.
