Since 1964, Alaïa is a legendary Parisian Couture Maison, which, beyond fashion, reveals the power of femininity and the timelessness of beauty in the spirit of its namesake creator.   Open to inspiration from all cultures and artistic fields, the free and uncompromising mind of Azzedine Alaia still imbues the Maison’s invention in all things.   At its heart, the ateliers perpetuate Alaïa's pioneering approach to the body as sculpture; crafting through fabric, cut, and silhouettes, limitless interpretations of a woman's beauty.   Mythical creations that move from day to evening are sculpted in innovative materials and in its legendary knit. They reflect both allure and comfort, structure and fluidity, as an ode to a universal femininity.

    DIALOGUE 1 - CRAZY HORSE PARIS Dialogue 1 takes place at Crazy Horse Paris, the legendary cabaret that fascinates Pieter Mulier and holds deep significance in Azzedine Alaïa’s story. “I have always wanted Alaïa to represent more than just clothes. And this is how Azzedine looked at Alaïa. He was such a visionary, that from the very start, he imagined Alaïa as a whole. As a space where fashion opens up to art and beauty. And this vision remains today. Because I believe that fashion only makes sense if it connects with its time. With the world,” Pieter Mulier. Sam Rock photographed, on its stage, eleven of its dancers. Each one of them wears a color of the iconic dress of Alaïa, along with the Teckel bag in the same nuance. The row of colors tells the infinite possibilities of a garment. They give it a rhythm, a musicality. A movement. Because Alaïa is that, above all. A house in motion.     ALAÏA NEW BOND STREET FLAGSHIP STORE, LONDON Reconceived under the creative direction of Pieter Mulier, Alaïa’s flagship store at 139 New Bond Street unveils a new intimate space where the latest creations of the House blend with a selection of artworks and design pieces. A unique way to combine Pieter Mulier’s visions with Alaïa’s refined codes, and to recreate an intimate space dedicated to beauty.     ALAÏA WINTER SPRING 2024 CAMPAIGN Long-time friend of the house, Gisele Bündchen stars in the new Alaïa Winter Spring 2024 campaign, shot by Tyrone Lebon in Miami. Combining empowered beauty and sensuality, Gisele becomes the incarnation of the Alaïa woman. Seams follow the shape of her silhouette, embodying the sensual vision imagined by Pieter Mulier. Latex, leather and knitwear become like a second skin. Sculptural jewelry and emblematic accessories complete her looks. “Gisele possesses something very unique, an aura which seems to emanate from her. An absolute elegance. Combined to a very strong beauty. She is so powerful and graceful at the same time”, explains Pieter Mulier. “To me, she is the Alaïa woman. And she knows the House so well.     ALAÏA SUMMER FALL 2024 BY PIETER MULIER Presented on January 23rd in Paris, the Summer Fall 2024 collection is about simplicity and purity, about less meaning more - about intimacy, about reducing to an essence, about finding freedom and invention in that. It is a decision, a choice, not to minimize but to focus, to expand possibilities. The entire collection is created using a single merino wool yarn, reinvented over and again with the Maison’s textile and knitwear suppliers, who have worked with Alaïa for four decades. It is based on the curve, on the circle - the curves of women, and circles of friends, a chosen family, an idea essential to the essence of Alaïa. “For this show, I wanted to bring us all together, to view everything up close - close together, close to the clothes“ – Pieter Mulier.     ALAÏA X RARE BOOKS PARIS   This winter, Alaïa is pleased to announce a partnership with Rare Books Paris. Housed in a private residence, Rare Books is a bookstore that sells limited edition, out-of-print, hard-to-find tomes, and some of fashion and art’s most collectable iconography. This collaboration perpetuates the bond between Alaïa and other artistic fields. It is a creative nod to the Maison’s unique vision and philosophy. From November 28th to January 4th, a special selection of books – curated by Pieter Mulier – is available in the Alaïa boutiques of Paris Marignan and London New Bond Street, along with customizable Alaïa bookmarks. #RareBooksParis #Alaia
