Pour nous aider dans la construction de ces (très grands) ailerons nous avons fait appel aux équipes de FOURE LAGADEC Marine. 💡 Ces ailerons antidérive pourront pivoter de 15° à droite et à gauche et seront également rétractables : le tirant d'eau de Neoliner Origin passera de 12m à 5.5m une fois les ailerons rétractés. The operational conditions of this route were simulated using 5 years of meteorological data. This next-generation navigation system optimizes and secures operations. Our first wind-powered ro-ro cargo ship is taking shape day by day 🫡 ✂️ 100% of the steel has been cut. 🔧 The blocks continue to be assembled (we had the opportunity to see the impressive installation of the engines block at the aft of the ship). 🛠️ The installation of the piping and electrical wiring is also progressing. Quick update on the rigging: it already left Les Chantiers de l'Atlantique to RMK Marine shipyard in Tuzla. ⛵ Set to launch in January 2025 and enter into service by mid-2025, the Neoliner Origin will mark the beginning of a new era in maritime transport. This RoRo vessel will be capable of carrying oversized cargo and up to 12 passengers.
