🔒 14th CNUE Futurology Forum: Cybersecurity in the Digital Era 🔒 At the invitation of the Conseil supérieur du notariat - Notaires de France (CSN), European notaries are gathering today for the 14th #CNUE Futurology Forum under the chairmanship of Tamas Parti. Opening the session, Jean-Michel BOISSET set the stage for today’s discussions, underlining the pressing need to address cybersecurity as a cornerstone of trust and resilience in notarial services. 💼 Strengthening Cybersecurity in the Digital Age CNUE President Marius Stračkaitis emphasized that as notarial services are becoming more and more digital, new cyber threats emerge, ranging from DDoS attacks to ransomware. He highlighted the importance of adopting both advanced technologies and rigorous security measures, ensuring that the digitalisation of notarial services is both innovative and secure. 🏛️ A Commitment to European Cooperation CSN President Bertrand Savouré welcomed participants and underscored the need for a united front across Europe. Noting that cybersecurity is a collective challenge, he stressed: “The security of the largest office is tied to that of the smallest.” His call for cooperation and knowledge-sharing reminds us that every office, big or small, contributes to the security of our profession. 📚 A Robust European Framework The agenda includes insights from Professor Thibaud Douville on the EU’s updated cybersecurity directive, which aims to build a unified response to the rising threats and strengthen notarial services' digital defenses across Europe. With today’s Forum, we are reinforcing the digital foundations of the notarial profession. Together, we are learning, sharing experiences, and forging a path toward a safer, more resilient future.
