OVHcloud, represented by its CEO Benjamin Revcolevschi, is delighted to have brought the tech ecosystem together in Brussels alongside Members of the European Parliament Oliver Schenk, Matthias Ecke, and Stéphanie Yon-Courtin to discuss the levers to strengthen the EU’s competitiveness and strategic autonomy. We explored key strategies to support #European tech and industrial players, emphasizing better access to public procurement and fair market conditions for European innovators. Together with Olivia Regnier and Michael Boll, we highlighted the importance of collaboration within the tech ecosystem and the crucial role of sovereign #cloud solutions in building Europe’s technological independence. These discussions echo the call made yesterday by the #EuroStack initiative, supported by more than 100 digital companies, urging the EU to take action. Europe has all the assets to become a technological leader, but to succeed, the entire value chain must be supported by joint action from both public and private players. 🇪🇺

Ahead of our Women in Tech Event this week, we spend a few moments with our Marketing and Communications Director, Andreea Cojocaru ☁️. Andreea, what does a typical day at OVHcloud look like for you? > Marketing is such a dynamic function that no day is the same; I might have a day of strategy workshops with the team, be looking at the performance of a marketing initiative, or hands-on at an event – but usually I’m in back-to-back meetings handling multiple topics as once. In the afternoon, things can get a little quieter and I start to get back to people’s emails and questions. Right now for example, a lot of my focus is around our Women in Tech event on the 6th March! Did you have any favourite role models when you were growing up? > My mum works at Orange, so from an early age I had a great role model who showed me how interesting the tech world could be. What did you do before this? > Before OVHcloud, I worked in marketing for a cable company as their digital and social media manager. Thanks Andreea.
