🚀 Exciting times for quantum computing! 🚀 Yesterday’s announcement from D-Wave marks an interesting milestone in quantum simulation, and we congratulate their team on the publication of their peer-reviewed paper in Science. This research showcases a compelling experiment studying the dynamics of quantum magnets, an area we at Pasqal are also deeply invested in as we pursue Quantum Advantage (QA). Here’s the perspective of our leaders and teams of scientists: ✔️ This is a great scientific paper and a valuable contribution to the field which aligns with our own vision for quantum simulation. ✔️ The claim of Quantum Advantage or Supremacy remains open to debate – previous studies have demonstrated that similar tasks can be handled with classical computers under the right conditions (see the papers by Joseph Tindall and Giuseppe Carleo - https://lnkd.in/eEgvirdP and https://lnkd.in/ePB-ynpW). ✔️ At Pasqal, we aim to push beyond, focusing on complex situations with dynamics that are even more challenging to simulate classically. “The race for practical quantum advantage is just beginning, and we are confident that Pasqal’s neutral-atom technology will play a leading role in reaching the next breakthroughs.” - Georges-Olivier REYMOND & Loïc Henriet #QuantumComputing #QuantumAdvantage #QuantumSimulation #NeutralAtoms #Innovation #Pasqal

We build Programmable Quantum Simulators and Quantum Computers made of 2D and 3D Atomic Arrays. Neutral atoms trapped in optical tweezers and addressed with laser beams are ideal indistinguishable quantum systems to realize superposition and entanglement, at the heart of powerful Quantum Information Processing. It is a highly scalable platform, benefiting from tens of years of development which has brought some of contemporary physics' most spectacular achievements: Bose-Einstein condensation, cavity quantum electrodynamics, etc... We develop the lasers, the vacuum technology, the electronic controls and the software stack to make the individual atoms accessible to quantum programmers worldwide.

Can Europe Move from Spectator to Contender in the Global Tech Race? Yesterday, at the Digitalization Policy Summit 2025 in Copenhagen—organized by the Danish Chamber of Commerce—our Global Public Policy Lead, Alexandra PAUL, joined a thought-provoking panel tackling this very question. Moderated by Danish tech journalist Marie Høst, the lively discussion explored how Europe can strengthen its digital competitiveness, innovation, and security in an era of rapid technological advancement, and an ever escalating global race. 💡 I know most of us would have liked to be a fly on the wall to hear Alexandra and the other speakers talk about topics such as: ✔ What other technologies can learn from quantum computing regulation. ✔ The best sectors for Europe to invest in to regain and maintain tech leadership. ✔ Critical measures needed to reinforce Europe’s digital security and competitiveness. Alexandra shared the stage with prominent industry and policy leaders: Vikram Sharma – TCS Denmark, Ulf Lund – Norlys, and Lisbeth Bech-Nielsen – Member of the Danish Parliament. At Pasqal, we firmly believe in the Europe's potential for technological leadership, with #quantum computing just one of elements. 🔍 What do you think? How can Europe move beyond regulation to become a true tech powerhouse? #Digitalization #TechLeadership #QuantumComputing #Europe #Innovation #DigitalPolicy #Competitiveness
