    We’ve all been there — innocently browsing online, adding items to our cart as a wishlist, then abandoning the site without a second thought. I’m guilty of this too, and it got me thinking: how do top brands handle these almost-purchases? The curiosity sparked a two-week deep dive into the world of abandonment flows. I targeted top-performing brands using Klaviyo and put myself in the shoes of a typical shopper. Here’s what I did: 1. Created accounts or signed up for marketing emails to ensure my actions were trackable 2. Browsed products on their websites, added items to my cart, or sometimes went through part of the checkout process 3. Left without completing purchases Then, I waited. Days turned into weeks as I collected every abandonment email these brands sent. The result? A treasure trove of 22 unique abandonment email sequences with follow-ups. Now I'm excited to share these real-world examples with you to help optimize your own email marketing strategies and recover more abandoned carts. I just built out these metrics that would have took me like an hour - took 5 min!” Our customers have been raving about this latest enhancement to Custom Metrics (called Nested Custom Metric). This highly requested upgrade with numerous direct requests from our customers has become a game-changer, empowering brands to create personalized, accurate analytics for their unique business needs. The driving force behind this release? Reducing the time our customers spend on defining and managing their custom metrics. With our refined Custom Metrics editor now featuring multiple tabs, users can open and modify several custom metrics simultaneously. For our data wizards, we’ve implemented safeguards to prevent circular references. If Metric A uses Metric B and vice versa, our system will catch any potential issues, display an error message, and ensure metrics remain reliable. It's been amazing to see how our customers are leveraging these new capabilities to personalize their reporting workflows. At the end of the day, our mission is to empower our brands with the tools and insights they need to thrive, and this is just the beginning.

    We've all dealt with the frustration of user tracking issues due to iOS privacy changes. Modular Closets was no different. At first, they didn’t realize how significantly these changes affected their email performance. They were unaware that Klaviyo was missing crucial events. It wasn’t until they installed Polar that they saw the full extent of the missed opportunities and potential revenue slipping through the cracks. Our team approached Modular Closets introducing the Klaviyo Flows Enricher, a tool we recently designed to capture up to 70% more abandonment events and enhance email flows. This first-party solution spots missed events, connects them to previously subscribed email addresses using our in-house Identity Graph, and sends these addresses back to Klaviyo. By simply duplicating their existing flows and enriching them with this new data, Modular Closets reached an additional 4,188 sends in Browse Abandonment Flow emails with a 54% revenue boost in just 28 days. “While I am a huge fan of Polar for their fantastic software, which has streamlined my super-complicated data stack, the new offering has raised the bar even further with its immediate ROI, in terms of lost revenue recovered,” says Yisroel, from Modular Closets Curious about how they did it?
