Heartwarming news straight from New York City! Last week, our team celebrated NYC Adopt-A-Dog Day and our new partnership with Animal Care Centers of NYC by covering all adoption fees for dogs adopted on Wednesday, July 24! Last year, ACC, New York City’s largest animal shelter, took in more than 15,000 animals; of the animals taken in, ACC averaged a 91 percent rate in helping find them homes. As the official nutrition partner, we will provide each adopter from ACC with a free one-month supply of food, as well as nutritional information to best support the health of their newly adopted pet. We’re thrilled to support New York City’s #RoyalCaninDogs and to have been featured on TODAY for this partnership celebration. Check out the coverage below! #RoyalCanin #HealthThroughNutrition #ABetterWorldForPets

Climate change poses one of the most significant challenges of our era. That’s why Mars, our parent company, is acting now and just released its 2023 sustainability report showcasing the efforts to accelerate this agenda. Among many advancements, the document shows a record 8% greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction worldwide, doubling its total GHG reduction to 16% across its full value chain and delivering its largest single-year decrease in GHG emissions against its 2015 baseline. At Royal Canin, one of our contributions to these efforts is focusing on developing regenerative agriculture initiatives in partnership with Soil Capital in Europe. Check out the report to learn more about this and other initiatives our company is taking to advance climate actions: https://lnkd.in/g_zbhYcH. #ProudlyMars #ProudlyRoyalCanin #Sustainability

Did you know weaning is a crucial stage in a kitten's development? It begins when their baby teeth start to come in, around 4 weeks old, and continues until they're about 8 weeks. This process should be slow and gradual to respect their evolving eating habits. Weaning foods need the right texture, shape, and size for this phase. Rehydrating kibbles can help, making them more appetizing and easier to chew. Pro tip: wet food is perfect for the weaning stage, thanks to its kitten-friendly texture. #RoyalCanin #HealthThroughNutrition #ABetterWorldForPets
