Fight against water scarcity & #water_pollution, improved access to water and sanitation, support to water utilities are key topics fueling our projects and our everyday motivation at Seureca. It was great to see today on the ground, at our Veolia Haworth Treatment Plant in New Jersey, how Veolia is leading the way in the fight against #PFAS. Offering an end-to-end solution from diagnosis and lab testing to the future of PFAS treatment technology, the solutions exist in response to one of the top public health priorities in the U.S. Big Up Veolia North America Another example of how at SEURECA we can benefit from the depth of the know-how of our mother company and from exchanges with operational staff to guarantee up-to-date engineering and operational technical assistance projects in support to water utilities around the world. Roadmap to Plastic Circularity, Manila City Action Plan, Philippines - Seureca and DT Global   I am excited to share insights from the recent Consultative Workshop on the Roadmap for Plastic Circularity held on September 4, 2024, at Bayview Hotel, Manila. This collaborative event brought together key stakeholders, including representatives from the Asian Development Bank (ADB),the Environmental Management Bureau-National Capital Region (EMB), the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) , and the Department of Public Services (DPS) of Manila City, to address the pressing issue of plastic pollution.   During the workshop, we explored the current challenges in Manila's solid waste management system and discussed actionable recommendations to enhance the city's approach to plastic waste. Notably, these recommendations are strategically aligned with:   1. City Plan of Action for Marine Litter: Ensuring that our initiatives directly contribute to reducing marine litter and protecting our waterways. 2.Extended Producers Responsibility (EPR) or RA 11898: Promoting accountability among producers to manage the lifecycle of their products, thereby reducing plastic waste at the source. 3. Roadmap for the Management of Plastic Waste and Reduction of Non-Recyclable Single-Use Plastics in the Philippines: Supporting national efforts to minimize non-recyclable plastics and transition towards sustainable alternatives.   Importantly, these recommendations were developed using a gender equality and social inclusion-informed approach, ensuring that the voices and needs of women, youth, and vulnerable communities are integral to our strategies. This focus not only enhances the effectiveness of our initiatives but also fosters a more inclusive and equitable framework for waste management.   Key discussion points included the importance of integrating technology, fostering collaboration among various sectors, and ensuring community engagement in our initiatives. This accomplishment would not have been possible without the support of ERGONS Project Marketing Consultant.   #PlasticCircularity #Sustainability #CircularEconomy #Manila #CommunityEngagement #ADB #DENR #DPS #MarineLitter #GenderEquality #SocialInclusion

🇨🇮 Seureca has secured a technical study contract that will lead to the construction of a 3 MWel #biomass power plant leveraging #CircularEconomy by using agricultural residues in the #IvoryCoast. This project is part of the Competitive Value Chains for Jobs and Economic Transformation Project (PCCET), launched in 2021 by The World Bank. In a #CircularEconomy approach, the biomass plant will use the unvalued residues of a shea and soybean processing plant to produce the required process #energy. It will also use local agricultural and forestry residues such as sawdust, rice husks and cocoa #waste. The site is located near the Supagro #Yamoussoukro campus in #Duonfla. Over the next 8 months, Seureca will conduct feasibility studies and prepare procurement documents for the plant's various equipment.

Senior Project Manager at Seureca Veolia

First mission outside France since a few years : Albania! Seureca is conducting a mission for the The World Bank to help the Government of Albania on water issues. We have deployed a strategy in 2 regional water utilities with concrete actions to improve the water service performance: on a short term (100 days) and long term on a 5 years base. The mission deals with technical, financial and legal approaches to improve the situation. I feel lucky to contribute to the improvement of water issues in Albania, while discovering this beautiful country, its history and culture A few words to describe my vision as Project Manager :  ✔ Useful : after managing water services such as APG for CAP ATLANTIQUE in France within Veolia France, the experience gained during a few years is more than useful for other water services  ✔ Learning : Consulting is a new experience for me, it provides new opportunities to learn new tools and approaches such as Utility of the Future from The World Bank. Despite the years, we are always on a learning curve :) ✔ Environmental impact: Our consulting activity has de-facto a positive impact : reducing water losses, monitoring the environmental impact of the waste water service in a context of urban growth Manon Chenevoy Constance Allegre Francois Lacour
