Fani works specifically on sustainable development financing and is developing new solutions, including a space-related dimension. So it was the perfect time to chat! Together we had the traditional introduction to space treaties and fundamental space law principles. We also discussed more practical legal aspects in the space industry such as space contracts or intellectual property. Ce fut donc l'occasion de faire le point sur ces évolutions et d'évoquer également la EU Space Law, qui devrait faire l'actualité en fin d'année. ENG For this thirty-third episode of the SPACEAVOCAT PODCAST, I had the pleasure of discussing with Emmanuel Bourdoncle, project manager for regulation and sustainability of space activities at the Direction Générale des Entreprises. This episode follows the recent publication of updates to several regulations, especially the famous “Réglementation Technique”. It was an opportunity to further talk about these developments, and also to have a quick look at the EU Space Law, which should be in the news at the end of this year.

During this episode, we were able to take stock of the third edition of the ★ Les Assises du NewSpace ★ and discuss the challenges faced by a sector accustomed to risks and always open to new opportunities!

Durant cet épisode, nous avons pu échanger sur les origines de cette réglementation particulière et Arnaud nous a livré sa vision du contrôle américain ainsi que celui opéré par les puissances montantes, dont la Chine. During this episode, we discussed the origins of this particular regulation, and Arnaud gave us his vision of American controls, as well as those operated by rising powers such as China.
