In a world where sustainability is paramount, aquaculture is turning to innovative solutions to optimize production. Our photobioreactors (PBR) stand out as a promising technology for microalgae cultivation. 💡 What are the main advantages ? ✅ 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 : The precise control of culture parameters in our PBRs promotes rapid growth of microalgae, which will be rich in nutrients, improving the health and performance of fish and shellfish. ✅ 𝐑𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭 : PBRs automate the cultivation of microalgae, thereby reducing the need for frequent manual interventions. In addition, they are designed to be easy to clean and maintain, thus reducing the time spent on these often painful tasks. ✅ 𝐑𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐤𝐬: PBRs are completely closed and protected, which reduces the risk of contamination by unwanted organisms. This reduces production losses and ensures a reliable supply of microalgae for aquaculturists ✅ 𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 : In addition to their low water consumption, PBRs use renewable resources (light, CO2), this technology limits the carbon footprint and contributes to greener aquaculture. ✅ 𝐅𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: These systems can be adapted to various environments, occupy a reduced floor space, thus allowing their integration into different aquaculture operations. Have you already explored the use of our PBRs in your production? Share your experiences and thoughts in comments! 💚 #Aquaculture #Microalgae #PBRs #Soustainability

A sneak peek at our new version of Jumbo, which is under construction in our laboratory. Some improvements were made compared to our previous version: ✔️The growth chamber is composed of glass tubes (resistance over time ) ✔️Air autonomy via an integrated compressor ✔️ Less dead zones (fewer connections possible between different parts ) ✔️ A useful volume of 99% ✔️ The CIP system is completely monitored via the controller, which ensures good maintenance ✔️ Optimised electric consumption during all the process ✔️ The system is now 100% closed, which allows the user to have a controlled photoperiod in the light enclosure and an homogeneous temperature throughout the culture room ✔️It is a compact system with dimensions that fits through a door ✔️ Easily integrated into a container. As a reminder about our jumbo features : ✔️ High productivity, typically ranges from 0.5-9 g/L. ✔️ The ease of use of the system makes it possible for one person to manipulate it ✔️ Remote monitoring with data collection and email alerts. ✔️Design with industrial approach (maintenance/after-sales service/materials/design) ✔️System delivered fully assembled therefore a turnkey solution. This new version of the Jumbo is a proof of our commitment to permanently improving our products to meet all the needs of our users. Stay tuned for more novelties ( Scale-up option, reuse of co2 in closed-loop in the system .. ). #Algae #Photobioreactor #Biotechnology #Production #Research
