[𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑/𝟐𝟒 - 𝐒𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐃 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄, 𝐇𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐂 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐔𝐋𝐓𝐒] 📈 Tereos confirms the success of its diversification strategy and the robustness of its model with a record industrial and commercial performance for the 2023/24 campaign. 🚜🚜 Restored financial strength giving Tereos greater agility to support its cooperative members and helping them to cope with a volatile and complex market environment: diversifying the model, reducing risk exposure, enhancing the value of crops. 🌱 Significant increase in the price paid for beet (€48.16/t) and alfalfa (€144/TMS) including the additional payment of a dividend. 🤝 A raison d'être as the common foundation of Tereos' values: “Cultivating a shared future for the Earth and People by meeting essential daily needs.” 📊 A solid financial performance for 2023/24 which confirms the strategic choices of Tereos and allows to deploy an ambitious strategy of #decarbonation, source of growth for the cooperative and its customers: ➡️ Revenues of €7.14bn (+9%) ➡️ Adjusted EBITDA of €1.13bn (+15%) ➡️ Recurring operating profit (EBIT) of €836m (compared with €664m in 2022/23) ➡️ Structural debt (excluding WCR) improving ♻️ Tereos is rolling out a €800 million investment plan over 9 years to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from its European industrial activities (scopes 1 & 2) by 65% by 2032/33 and achieve net zero across the entire value chain by 2050. [#APPOINTMENT] 🤝 We are delighted to announce the appointment of Kristell Guizouarn as Public Affairs, CSR & Communication Director and as member of Tereos Management Committee. Kristell joins Tereos at a pivotal moment. As we face new climatic, agricultural, and societal challenges, her expertise will be instrumental in solidifying Tereos' long-term position as a major player in our markets. Her arrival coincides with the recent confirmation of Tereos' ambitious decarbonization roadmap, aiming for net-zero emissions by 2050 across all activities. Kristell brings a wealth of experience to Tereos. She began her career in a subsidiary of Avril, leading Biodiesel Research & Development and playing a key role in strategic initiatives alongside the General Management. Her impressive track record includes defining the CSR policy for the Avril Group's, which is present in 18 countries. She was later appointed as Director of European Affairs and New Energies Strategy, advocating for the Group and the sector at the European level. Most recently, she has overseen Regulatory Affairs for all Avril Group activities. Throughout her career, Kristell cemented her leadership by serving as Chairman of the EBB European Biodiesel Board and Esterifrance, the biodiesel producers' union since 2013. We warmly welcome Kristell to the Tereos Management Committee and look forward to her significant contributions in the years to come!
