Sentinel-1 mission will continue its critical task aiming at delivering key radar imagery of the Earth’s surface, for a wide range of Copernicus services and scientific applications. As a partner of last week’s “The Overview – European Space Investors Day” on the side of #IAC2024 in Milano, the Space Business Catalyst by Thales Alenia Space was proud to see a number of its accelerated startups pitch: congratulations SpaceLocker, Aiko, 3IPK, Orbital Matter and Kurs Orbital! Congratulations as well to Astradyne which won the pitch contest among the 28 attending startups! And thank you SpaceFounders for the stellar organization as well as to the European Commission , the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA), CASSINI , DG DEFIS , the EUSPA - EU Agency for the Space Programme, the European Space Agency - ESA, Centre National d'Études Spatiales, the Agenzia Spaziale Italiana, Bundeswehr University Munich and Spacely for having us alongside you.   The event was also the opportunity for our CEO Herve DERREY and the Director of Commercialization, Industry and Competitiveness for ESA Geraldine Naja to officially announce and sign a Memorandum of Understanding with ESA to reinforce the links between ESA Commercialization Network and the Space Business Catalyst. Ciao a tutti. I’m MIMI, #IAC2024 mascot. During the 75th edition of the International Astronautical Congress, I went to see my new friends on Thales Alenia Space booth. I was really impressed by what I saw. I will try to give an overview of a selection of technologies spotlighted for the occasion using 4 pictures. Picture 1: Let me introduce you Euclid, a scientific mission that will study the acceleration of the Universe’s expansion. It will study dark matter and energy to reveal the beauties of the solar system. Picture 2: What an incredible space vehicle! it is a brilliant mixture between a rover and a pressurized lunar shelter. This multiple-purpose habitat will be the first outpost on the lunar surface. Picture 3: Let me show you Lunar Gateway, a future space station that will orbit around the Moon, 400.000 kilometers away above our heads. Picture 4: can you imagine that in 2030, this rover will land on the Martian surface? It will try to find former traces of Life on Mars.
