The World Water Council recently completed a strategic advocacy mission across Asia and the Middle East, holding pivotal meetings in Beijing, Abu Dhabi, and Delhi. These discussions emphasized the critical need for governance-based water security, particularly in China. The World Water Council engaged with key stakeholders, including the Chinese Minister of Water Resources, the Indonesian Minister of Public Works and Housing, the Minister of Water Resources of Uzbekistan, and the Deputy Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation of Malaysia. At the Asia International Water Week, President of the World Water Council, Mr. Fauchon, underscored the importance of hydro diplomacy in addressing global water challenges. He reaffirmed WWC's dedication to fostering collaboration across sectors to promote sustainable water management.
