Si vous envisagez de préparer une proposition prochainement (projets collaboratifs thématiques), cette session est pour vous ! 🔎 Les participantes et participants seront répartis en sous-groupes (un pour chacun des principaux clusters d’#HorizonEU) et recevront une proposition Horizon Europe anonymisée, soumise lors d’un appel passé, pour laquelle ils devront jouer le rôle d’évaluateur. Se mettre à la place de l’évaluatrice ou de l’évaluateur leur permettra de comprendre ce qui est important dans une proposition. Ils pourront ensuite comparer leur évaluation avec celle que la proposition a réellement obtenue. 🔊 A new board of the “French Tech Dubai – Abu Dhabi” was appointed this month, with the aim of placing particular emphasis on artificial intelligence and “green tech”. The objective is to promote collaboration between French technology companies and tech actors in the UAE and more generally in the GCC region. The United Arab Emirates is recognized as a global hub for technology and innovation. The country has demonstrated a strong commitment to the development of sectors such as Artificial Intelligence, Green Tech and many other technological areas. This dynamic offers exceptional opportunities for French technology companies wishing to settle and develop in the region. Against this backdrop, the new “French Tech Dubai – Abu Dhabi” was launched this month. A new steering committee headed by Stephane Boukris was elected by representatives of French companies in the tech sector based in the UAE. Service Économique Régional pour la Péninsule arabique (SERPA), Business France and the “Team France Export” are partners in the initiative. The program of the new French Tech Dubai - Abu Dhabi will place particular emphasis on Artificial Intelligence and Green Tech. Events will be organized to promote exchanges and collaborations between French technology companies and tech players in the UAE and beyond in the GCC region. French Tech Dubai - Abu Dhabi aims to be a vector of growth and innovation for French companies, taking advantage of the dynamism and opportunities offered by this region. 🔬 The Research and Innovation Week (R&I Week) is the European Commission’s flagship event on #research and #innovation which took place between 18 and 21 March 2024 in Tour & Taxis, Brussels, Belgium.   During the week, several announcements were made, initiatives discussed and topics debated. Celebrating the 40-year journey through the Research and Innovation Framework Programmes, the R&I Week 2024 debated the future of R&I and commemorated past and current achievements.   We highlight two main achievements for #Portugal: 👉 André Mão de Ferro, Veronica Costa Orvalho 🔜GDC and Miguel Castanho appointed as #EICAmbassadors. CES is the Tech Conference to attend.   ⚡ It is known for its massive tech presence both from the largest and from the smaller companies, but it also provides a unique outlook on different region's tech focus. There is a significant difference between the Korean, the French and US booths. 🚀 Another reflection is the level of decision makers present here.
