On September 4 in the framework of the networking event “Building Bridges: Developing Business Opportunities through Peer Collaboration,” which was held on September 3, 2024, in Tbilisi, Georgia the Ukrainian and WBCG delegations visited the Kakheti region. The event is organized by the Women Business Council in Georgia (WBCG) with the support of the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) and in partnership with the Ukrainian platform “Women in Business.” The delegation was hosted by Gulnara Romanadze, an entrepreneur from Khashmi (Sagarejo, Kakheti). He founded the "Pongino Wine" firm. The entrepreneur informed the guests about his winery and demonstrated the production process. Gulnara Romanadze Family Winery Giuaani Tour - Mariam Giuashvili, a family member, is the company's executive director. www.giuaani.ge - Giuaani is a family winery with roots dating back to 1894. The delegation members became acquainted with the standards of producing items.

მეწარმე ქალთა საბჭომ საქართველოში უმასპინძლა პარტნიორ და მეგობარ ორგანიზაციას “მაგენ დავიდის საერთაშორისო ქალთა ცენტრს”. მეგობრული ვიზიტის ფარგლებში 20 აგვისტოს ორგანიზაციის წევრებს და აზერბაიჯანელ სტუმრებს უმასპინძლა ეკატერინე ბურკაძემ ჩვენი ორგანიზაციის წევრმა “ბორჯომის მინერალური წყლის ქარხანაში” ტურზე. პარტნიორი ორგანიზაცია შეხვდა ბაკურიანის განვითარების ხელმძღვანელს ეკატერინე ორჯონიკიძეს. აღნიშნული ვიზიტის მიზანი იყო სტუმრობა ფესტივალის გახსნაზე, რეგიონის გაცნობა და რეგიონის მეწარმე ქალთა შორის სამომავლო თანამშრომლობის გაღრმავება. დღეს, 21 აგვისტოს ჯგუფი გაემგზავრა ახალციხეში, სადაც ლალი სამსონაძემ უმასპინძლა ჯგუფის წევრებს და სადეგუსტაციო ტური გამართა საწარმო “SL company” -ში; ჩვენი ორგანიზაციის ახლამა წევრმა, მაია აღლემაშვილმა უმასპინძლა სტუმრებს ახლად გახსნილ სასტუმროში “ტერასა ახალციხე”. დღის ბოლოს სტუმრები მიწვეულები არიან კლასიკური მუსიკის ფესტივალზე “ღამის სერენადები”, რომელის დირექტორი გახლავთ ნინა ცაგარელი ჩვენი საბჭოს წევრი. იხილეთ ფესტივალის ბმული. Today, August 21, the group went to Akhaltsikhe, where Lali Samsonadze hosted the group members and held a tasting tour at the "SL company" enterprise; The current member of our organization, Maya Aglemashvili, hosted the guests in the newly opened hotel "Terasa Akhaltsikhe". At the end of the day, guests are invited to the classical music festival "Night Serenades", the director of which is Nina Tsagareli, a member of our board.

Successful women from private and public sectors, as well as civil society and international organizations participated in the forum. The conference included panel discussions on women's perspectives in terms of European integration, women's active participation in government and business, their access to finance, and issues related to gender. 🤝 USAID promotes gender equality and women's participation in policymaking and economic development. While supporting the development of inclusive and transparent economic policies in Georgia, USAID's Economic Governance Program seeks to increase women's participation in economic reform advocacy.
