🎺Waste for Health, Waste for Wealth 🎺 Our Stronger Together Project engaged Toilet Owners, Operators, and Truck Operators at Ashaiman on advocacy for improved sanitation. Over 65 participants attended the meeting, which included a tour of the Safisana waste treatment plant and discussions on their roles and overcoming taboos to promote better sludge management in the community. The group concluded by committing to advocate for proper sanitary conditions around sludge in the local neighborhoods. #PlanInternationalGhana #Safisana #ImprovedSanitation

The 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) will take place between Monday, 11th November, and Friday 22nd November 2024 in Baku, Azerbaijan. This conference will also prioritize integrating gender-responsive and intergenerational approaches to climate policy and action, highlighting the critical role of youth and girls in climate leadership. Plan International is calling for world leaders to increase funding that helps girls, and their communities adapt and recover from the impacts of climate change. #PlanInternationalGhana

🥳💝In line with our organization’s commitment to employee health and well-being, Our people and culture unit organized a special Breast Cancer Awareness Talk and Free Screening for Plan International Ghana staff. 🎀 🤩The facilitators from Healthnet shared an insightful session on protecting oneself and loved ones with early detection tips and preventive measures. The session ended with a Free breast Screening by certified health professionals.🤩 😃The Men were not left out and were given the opportunity to undergo screening as this issue can affect both men and women. 🎀Together, we can break the silence around breast cancer, and together, we can make a difference. #PlanInternationalGhana #BreastCancerAwareness
