#ENISA's Telecom and Digital Infrastructure Security Forum 2025 concluded yesterday with great success! 🎉 A big thank you to our expert panels and participants for steering the conversation and sharing their valuable perspectives. 🙏 Take a look at the key highlights of the day: 🔹 Strengthening cooperation, improving reporting, and fostering trust between authorities and operators is essential in the fight against espionage and cyber threats. Europe’s telecom operators are among the most mature globally, but challenges remain, including under-reporting of incidents and emerging risks like space weather impact on infrastructure. 🔹Subsea cables are at the heart of the Europe's future connectivity. With geopolitical instability, securing these critical assets requires concerted effort from both public and private sectors. Satellites can play a crucial role in addressing high-critical connectivity need. 🔹New technologies, such as AI, can be secured and leveraged to combat cybersecurity threats. Policy initiatives, such as #DNS4EU by the European Commission, to provide a private, safe and independent DNS resolution for European citizens, governments, and institutions. 🔹On the future of the telecom sector, there is a need for new EU initiatives to further strengthen cybersecurity in telecoms, subsea cables, and incident reporting, along with more coordinated action across EU member states.
