🎉 We are thrilled to welcome our latest guest, who has embarked on an exciting journey to explore our state-of-the-art labs and facilities through the Emerge Project! 🚀 It was an honor to host Dr. Siddhartha S. from KSI Meinsberg for an intensive five-day demonstration and training session at Nano@HMU, Institute of Emerging Technologies. The focus was on advanced photodiodes used for imaging neuronal responses during optical stimulation. Led by Dr. Dimitris Tsikritzis, Mr. Michail Loizos, and Mr. Nikos Tzoganakis, the session offered invaluable insights and hands-on experience. The visit was marked by insightful discussions, practical experiences, and a fruitful exchange of knowledge. we are truly happy with Emmanuel Kymakis to announce a new paper just published in the journal of Physical Chemistry Letters of ACS! In this work, we extend our studies on mixed halides perovskite based memristive solar cells, by specifically replacing the standard PTAA that is used as HTL with self assembled monolayers (SAM). Moreover, the whole manufacturing is now done in a dry box, instead of standard gloves boxes, relaxing therefore the required atmospheric conditions towards enhanced sustainability! overall, our SAM based memristive devices exhibit significantly less SET voltage values with suppressed device to device variability and less statistical distribution of critical figures of merit. This manuscript is published as part of The Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters virtual special issue “Materials, Physics, and Chemistry of Neuromorphic Computing Systems.
