Yesterday, the German-Hellenic Chamber of Industry and Commerce, on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), hosted a conference focusing on renewable energy, grid integration, and energy storage technologies. The event aimed to strengthen partnerships between Greek and German companies and promote innovative energy solutions. In their opening remarks, Monika Frank, Consul General of Germany in Thessaloniki, and Stratos Simopoulos, Member of Parliament and Chairman of the Parliament’s Research and Technology Committee, emphasized the significance of the conference. At the Mediterranean Palace Hotel, five top German energy companies showcased innovative solutions from Germany. The event also featured opportunities for B2B meetings and networking, allowing participants to directly explore potential collaborations. Additionally, experts from Germany and Greece discussed the latest advancements, best practices, and opportunities for energy in the tourism and industrial sectors.
