ATAL Badminton Team participated in the “2024 Life President Martin Fong Badminton Competition” organised by the Hong Kong Electrical Contractors’ Association. Going through four days of intense competition, our team achieved the Champion in Men’s Doubles 🏆 1st Runner-up and 2nd Runner-up in Mixed Doubles 🏅 1st Runner-up in Women’s Singles 🏸 and 2nd Runner-up in Men’s Singles! Congratulations to ATAL Badminton Team!   Special thanks to our Group Chairman Dr Kim Mak, Sales & Service Director Ir Billy Cheung, Head of Smart Data Automation Mark Leung and our other colleagues who attended the race in person to support and cheer for the team. Their encouragement was vital to the team’s victories.   ATAL Football Team also participated in the “Construction Industry 5-a-side Football Competition 2024”, organised by the Construction Industry Council, and competed against over 60 football teams from the construction industry. Despite the extremely hot weather, our team displayed unwavering determination and remarkable team spirit, making it to the last 16 of the competition. ☀⚽ Appreciation to our Group CEO Raymond Chan who attended the event to cheer for the team. He was also invited to be the award presenter for the “Construction Industry 5-a-side Football Competition 2024 – Shield Competition”.   At ATAL, we encourage a healthy lifestyle and support our colleagues to showcase their talents in different areas, including sports. Proud moment for ATAL Dragon Boat Team! 🐉 🏆 Our team participated in the “Construction Industry Council Dragon Boat Race 2024”, achieving excellent results in the “CIC Enterprise Cup” and advanced to the “CIC Lo Pan Cup”, winning the 3rd Runner Up! A big congratulations to our ATAL Dragon Boat Team!   Appreciation to our Group Founder Dr Otto Poon, CEO Raymond Chan, CFO Peter Cheng, Human Resources Director Pat Poon, and our other colleagues who attended the race in person to support and cheer for the team. We spare no efforts in showing support for industry events, including the two anniversary dinners of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers Building Division and HKIE BSD. The two events have been a great success, bringing together hundreds of members and guests for a memorable evening of celebration, including our CEO Ir Raymond Chan, Managing Director Ir Brian Cheng, Chief Operating Officer Benny Liu, Chief Executive of Information, Communications and Building Technologies (#ICBT) Ir Dave Chan, Chief Executive of Environmental Engineering Ir Lai Kam-Hung, Steven, Chief Executive of Data Centre Infrastructure Ir Ronny Lo, and our esteemed colleagues. The distinguished presence of representatives from the government, engineering institutions and universities added immense value to the evening. Our #ATAL team celebrated the strengthened #bonding and collective #achievements accomplished by engineers despite the challenges over the past year. The events offered prime opportunities for networking, exchanging insight and driving the industry forward. Our Chief Executive of Environmental Engineering Ir Lai Kam-Hung, Steven has been one of the judging panelists at the “12th Greater China Design Competition (GCDC)” organised by IMechE - Hong Kong Branch. The event is significant in supporting the growth of young talent and promoting cross-border collaborations that extend benefits to regions surrounding Hong Kong. In support of the “World Day for Safety and Health at Work” designated by the International Labour Organisation on 28 April every year, our management team visited our soon-to-be operational new headquarters, ATAL Tower, to address the importance of #safety and #health in our workplace.   Our Chairman Dr Kim Mak, CEO Ir Raymond Chan, Managing Director Ir Brian Cheng, and COO Mr Benny Liu participated in the event, promoting this year’s theme “Climate Change and Safety and Health at Work” and highlighting the increased risk of exposure such as excessive heat and extreme weather.   In light of the recent industrial accidents, participants paid silent tribute to the victims, while our Corporate Sustainability Director Ir Dr Sammy Wan shared the lessons learned from the accidents. It was followed by a small presentation ceremony to recognise the “Outstanding Safety Workers” from our Group and subcontractors working at ATAL Tower, and distribution of safety promotional items.   At ATAL, #safety is always our priority. We are committed to fostering #safety and #health in the workplace, taking into consideration the well-being of all our employees as well as subcontractors’ workers.   #ATAL #EngineeringwithPassion  

We are glad to have attended the IMechE - Hong Kong Branch Annual Dinner 2024 last week, a gathering that brought together members of our industry, including our Group Founder Dr Otto Poon, CEO Ir Raymond Chan, Chief Executive of Environmental Engineering Ir Lai Kam-Hung, Steven and our esteemed colleagues. Dr Otto Poon, Past Chairman of the IMechE - Hong Kong Branch, was delighted to reunite with old friends and welcome new faces, underscoring the strong sense of community and shared purpose that flourishes within our industry. At ATAL, our people-oriented approach lies at the foundation of our operations. We value these opportunities to gather and exchange insights. With Mother's Day approaching, it is the perfect time to express our love and appreciation over a dining table with delicious food. We have recently hosted a Mother's Day buffet for our colleagues, their mothers, and children, complete with great vibes and heartwarming memories. Each mother received a personalised Mother’s Day card and gift as a token of our love and gratitude.
