The National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) in USA has granted official accreditation to the Child Life Certification Commission and the Certified Child Life Specialist credential. This recognition is not just a badge of honor; it’s a testament to the quality, reliability, and excellence of the child life specialist program. Why is this accreditation important? It aligns the Child Life Specialist credential with the gold standard in healthcare credentialing. Yesterday was memorable for our young heroes at the Children's Cancer Foundation. We were graciously invited to visit the iconic #HSBC Main Building🏢, a masterpiece of high-tech architecture by Norman Foster. But it wasn't just about marveling at the stunning architecture. The real highlight was the heartwarming talks and career insights shared by HSBC's COO Marina Tong and her dedicated team. Among them is an inspiring cancer survivor who shared his journey of empowerment and thriving within HSBC's inclusive environment. This powerful testament deeply resonated with our young survivors, illuminating a path of possibility and hope. HSBC's dedication to making a real difference shone through every story and building. 【Shave for a Cure in Hong Kong! 2024】 Nothing could stop the enthusiasm of Deutsche Bank in helping childhood cancer patients! The Deutsche Bank achieved great success at its St. Baldrick's Foundation event, “Shave for a Cure”. Over 180 employees across Asia, including Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Singapore and India, volunteered to shave their heads to raise funds for a good cause! 💝We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Ms. Wani Lee, Mr David Cham, CFA and all the brave “shavees” who volunteered to make such a 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗱 move in unconditional support of our young patients.
