Monoline is a Brand Strategy Design Consultancy specializing in storytelling and process management. We champion up-and-coming companies across the Asia Pacific region with a strong sense of purpose. Becuase they are determined to make an impact on their community and scale their influence to unlock long-term growth opportunities. With core operations in Hong Kong and Singapore, we cover most of the APAC region with resources across the board. We collaborate with external consultants and partners to gain fresh, strategic perspectives on our thinking, processes, and work. All of this is to create the designful stories we desire for the purposeful. We align ourselves with best practices across multiple disciplines, but as brand advocate, we understand relevancy comes before anything else.     Customer-centric. Are we really? A business exists to solve problems - your customers' problems. It only makes logical sense to put them front and center in everything you do. The thing is, have you done your part before you ask your customers to be committed to your #brand? Do you really know them? What do they like/dislike? What are their needs/wants? Are you making their lives easier, or harder? Does your success as a business come from them being amazing with their lives? #Customer-centric is way beyond just a buzzword. When done right, it builds connection, trust and loyalty. Guess what. Over time, you won't invite them to your parties anymore. They invite you to theirs. You want long-term support? Treat them like friends and look out for them.

    You are pouring money into things you don't need? Unlocking Effective Client-Agency Conversations Too often, we find ourselves in the same conversation loop with clients: ===== Client: "Perhaps it's time for us to change the logo." Agency: "Sounds great. Why is that?" Client: "We need to keep up. Everyone in the field is changing their logo." Agency: "Cool! What colors do you like?" ===== Client: "We want a new website." Agency: "Cool. Why is that? What's not working with the existing one?" Client: "It is just too old. It doesn't look good compared to our competitors." Agency: "Got it. Let's reskin your website." ===== Client: "We want an amazing video!" Agency: "On it! Do we want any celebrities? Perhaps a couple of influencers too?" ===== But here's the thing: the solution is often prescribed before understanding the problem. Are you really getting what you need? Sure, you'll end up with an amazing logo, website, video, or whatever it may be. But have you ever stopped to ask yourself why? Why does not having one bother you? Why is this particular solution the right fit? Why would your customers care? Why now? It might seem a little annoying at first, but why wouldn't you adopt a process that ensures your money is well spent? Let's make every penny count.
