【Oxfam Grant for Good: First Cohort Social Innovation Projects for Children and Teens Officially Launched！🚀🌟】 With support from the SIE fund, social innovation projects incubated by Oxfam's "Grant for Good '' have officially launched! These projects provide targeted services to address the needs of disadvantaged communities 🤝🌟. Below are six projects offering various social services and benefits to children and youth🧒👧👇: Project 1️⃣: Inclusive Sports Tech Program Project Description: Utilizing sports technology to provide physical education programmes for children with autism and ADHD, aiming to improve the children’s health and address their behavioral issues Funding Period: 1️ year Project Scale: Prototype Project 2️⃣: Youth Trail Running Program Project Description: Providing trail running training for youths and students with special educational needs, to cultivate their physical fitness, confidence, character and motivation, and to get prepared for future development Organization: TTR Trailwalker Teaching Room Charity Foundation Limited Funding Period: 2️ years Project Scale: Scale-up Project 3️⃣: "Stage Flight" Youth Performing Arts and Production Training and Internship Project Description: Providing intensive training in performing arts and backstage production to youth, followed by public performances production. In Hong Kong, the learning environment is mainly Chinese📚, and ethnic minority students often lack daily exposure to the Chinese language, making it difficult for them to keep up with the teaching progress and even lose interest in learning Chinese. Through "EM Ensemble Band," @Addoilmusic 加油·音樂 encourages ethnic minority students to integrate learning with music🎶, thereby enhancing their motivation to learn Chinese and providing them with opportunities to showcase their learning achievements, promoting social inclusion. Initiated by Addoilmusic, "EM Ensemble Band" is one of the social innovation projects that have successfully received funding from the SIE fund under the Oxfam Grant for Good program. 【Oxfam Grant for Good: Social Innovation Projects from Cohort 1 Have Been Officially Approved！🚀🌟】 Appointed by the SIE fund, Oxfam Grant for Good is proud to present projects incubated by our team in Cohort 1 finally got approved. 🥳🚀 Oxfam will continue to show support for these dedicated teams to address poverty and social exclusion faced by vulnerable communities🙌, including the elderlies, children and youth, low-income families, and ethnic minorities. Below are the six projects funded by SIE Fund in Cohort 1 and are strongly aligned with the government's “Targeted Poverty Alleviation” policy🎯. We all share a common vision to mitigate the pressing poverty issue in Hong Kong: Project 1️⃣: "Project Space-us" Project Description: The venture recruits the homeless, grassroots children and the elderly to take part in co-creating solutions that enhance their competence and autonomy in tackling their problems and improving their quality of life and mental health Name of Organisation: Baak6zou6 Limited Funding Period: 1 year Project Size: Prototype Project 2️⃣: "Digital Mental Healthcare for Cancer Patients Scheme (Hollo)” Project Description: Launching a digital disease companion app which provides digital therapy; mental health AI-tracking; credible health information; and social resources for cancer patients from the low-Income Name of Organisation: Hollo Limited Funding Period: 2 years Project Size: Start-up Project 3️⃣: "Repair Café HK" Project Description: By providing home and appliance repair services for low-income families and elderly living in subdivided units, the project aims to improve their home environment and quality of living, and to help them in saving on related expenses Name of Organisation: Repair Café HK Limited Funding Period: 2 years Project Size: Start-up Project 4️⃣: "Rejuvenating your mind and home” Project Description: Enhance the physical and mental well-being of full-time child carers living in inadequate housing by providing home organising services and mindfulness skills coaching for them Funding Period: 1 year Project Size: Prototype Project 5️⃣: "LAU HAA" Project Description: Leveraging cross-sectoral networks and utilizes public spaces in the community to bring neighbours together, enhancing the quality of life and well-being of low-income families while promoting community participation Name of Organisation: Very Hong Kong Foundation Limited Funding Period: 2 years Project Size: Start-up Project 6️⃣: “SEN to You x Mindful MaMa" Community Project” Project Description: Provide training to low-income women, empowering them to lead mindfulness activities for children with special education needs (SEN) and their caregivers, creating job opportunities for the women and offering support to the SEN children and their caregivers Name of Organisation: Childhood Is Limited Funding Period: 1.5 years Project Size: Start-up #樂施會 #OxfamHongKong #無窮實現室 #GrantforGood #G4G
