Here is what we learned:   🏭 Scope 3 emissions are more challenging to measure and manage and they demand urgent corporate action (only 15% of companies have set reduction targets). 🤝🏼 Encourage supplier engagement and sustainable financing to reduce supply chain emissions effectively. 💻 Innovative approaches like AI, digital twins, and internal carbon pricing can help drive sustainability across sectors effectively.   🚀 Post-Event Actions ✔️ Gain deeper knowledge on Scope 3 emissions to establish a baseline for action, and prioritize reliable, traceable data for precise carbon accounting. ✔️ Invest in innovative methods and engage with suppliers and customers to further mitigate Scope 3 emissions.   The panel emphasised collaborative efforts and innovative strategies in addressing Scope 3 emissions. [Quick summary of Keynote Session - ISSB Interoperability on a Worldwide Scale] Moderator Ee Sin Tan (Partner at EY) was joined by Bing Leng (International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) Member ) to discuss the opportunities and challenges of applying “ISSB Interoperability on a Worldwide Scale”. The International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB, established at COP26 in 2021) serves to establish global reporting standards through interoperability; a method becoming increasingly relevant in sustainability reporting.
