Much of Asia do not have time to wait for the tepid response to climate change seen at COP28 to speed up. The region urgently needs more action and financing to help brace itself and undertake adaptation measures against the onslaught of climate crisis, and to support its transition from fossil fuels. COP28 ended last week but can we call it a successful one? Fossil fuels were finally accepted as a major cause of climate change and included in the text, which is a historic achievement!
