This has enabled mobility-challenged patients to receive their medications at home, reducing their risk of travelling and alleviating the burden on patients and their caregivers. Today marks the official launch of this inspiring documentary that chronicles the incredible journey of para-rowers Ajmal Samuel and Augustas Navickas as they face historical challenges in sports. 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭🚣🏻: Para-rowers Ajmal Samuel and Augustas Navickas have come together in a powerful movement to champion inclusivity and accessibility in sports. In 2019, the pair made history as the first duo with disabilities to compete in Hong Kong's iconic Around the Island Race (ATIR)- a famously brutal 45km coastal route that circumnavigates Hong Kong Island. Their challenges, and triumphs were recorded in a moving documentary, following Ajmal and Augustas's journey in conquering Hong Kong's ATIR. The 'Pushing Through Waves' documentary captures the pair's determination to compete in the ATIR, and stands to make a name for para-rowers in coastal rowing events worldwide. A special thank you to our incredible team for their expert logistics, ensuring timely delivery to various elder care centers. 🙌 This impactful initiative received essential financial support from the Bright Future Charitable Foundation. Additionally, the Golden Age Foundation played a key role in identifying and distributing these wheelchairs to low-income seniors in need.   This initiative is anticipated to benefit over 1,700 low-income seniors and 450 staff members.
