Accounting Manager

Swire Coca-Cola is looking for an Accounting Manager in our Finance Department.

The job holder is responsible for the preparation of consolidated financial and management reports to meet the requirements from Swire Pacific Group Finance and SCS management (including monthly result, half year and year end annual report, budget and reforecast), and provide financial analysis that facilitate management to drive business growth.

This position reports to Executive Manager, Financial Services. Aspiring candidates with less experience will be considered at Assistant Manager or Senior Accountant level.

Job Description

• Convert local accounting standards of our operating regions to HK accounting standard
• Prepare and consolidate the financial results for management team to make business decisions and action plans
• Prepare the budget, forecast and financial plans and consolidate the information for business planning purposes
• Prepare management and statutory reports required by Swire Pacific
• Check and ensure operating companies’ finance teams follow the latest and appropriate accounting standard
• Check and review the accuracy of data/financial information submitted by plants and provide feedback
• Create financial analysis with business insight (which may include the revamp of the management report) to assist management to drive business growth and make informed business decisions
• Assist in any implementation, maintenance or upgrade with respect to the consolidation system currently used by the department

The Successful Applicant

• Degree holder major in Accounting / Finance
• Minimum 7 years’ accounting related experience
• Qualified Public Accountant
• Solid financial, management and consolidation knowledge
• Solid knowledge on accounting standard, rules and regulation
• Strong communication skills
• Able to work under pressure with tight reporting deadline
• Willingness and ability to handle challenges and changes
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
