We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of IT to join our dynamic team and lead the development and implementation of our technology solutions.
Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of IT will play a critical role in driving our organization's technology strategy and leading the development of customized web and mobile app solutions for education-related applications. This position requires expertise in building strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and business partners to deliver cutting-edge solutions aligned with our strategic objectives. The successful candidate will lead the implementation and support of D365 while overseeing the mobile app development team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and business partners to understand their requirements and develop customized web and mobile app solutions for education-related applications.
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and support of D365, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
- Manage and provide leadership to a team of mobile app developers, offering guidance and support throughout the development lifecycle.
- Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and advancements in the education sector, ensuring our solutions remain innovative and relevant.
- Oversee the testing, quality assurance, and deployment of web and mobile app solutions, ensuring they meet high standards of performance, security, and usability.
- Foster strong relationships with technology vendors, ensuring timely delivery of services and solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and marketing, to ensure successful solution launch and adoption.
- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior leadership on technology-related initiatives and investments.
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and innovation in line with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline). A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in building customized web and mobile app solutions for education-related applications.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with D365 implementation and support.
- Prior experience in leading and managing a team of developers.
- Familiarity with the K-11 curriculum or a strong passion for the education sector is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering technology projects on time and within budget.
