PR and Brand Communication Manager

PR and Brand Communications Manager will be responsible for managing the image and reputation of Swire Coca-Cola with internal and external stakeholders at our South East Asia, Hong Kong & Taiwan (SEAHKT) region. The role influences opinions and behaviour, both internally and externally, through various communication channels, including websites, social media, press coverage, internal communications and more. The role also sets up and monitors governance on all brand related assets developed and maintained.

Job Description

• Plans, prepares, and distributes original promotional content such as articles, news and press releases, email, blog and social media posts, and other updates on behalf of the organization
• Responsible for setting up corporate content for the region that includes message house (narratives for internal and external communications), content for website, dedicated social media platform for the region for internal communications i.e. Facebook at Workplace
• Develops assets for the region – region profile with proof points, profiles of regional CEO and bottlers GMs, share point to store documents; content creation for key milestones for markets to utilize.
• Media relations strategy for brand communications including media mapping for proactive communications for the region and bottlers
• Development of thought leadership communications strategy and execution via digital platform
• Set up of an internal communications channel as means of connect through the region and have an editorial schedule to populate the channel including profiling of regional leadership. Maintain content for the SCCOne SEAHKT Intranet page
• Develop standard internal communications assets/channels – message from regional CEO template; one social media channel for internal communications across the region; develop page for region on intranet
• Develop together with PAC Regional Director COE for Media Relations, building capabilities and skills for market functions

The Successful Applicant

• Experience in public relations at a company or organization. Exceptional writing and editing skills. Deep knowledge of traditional, digital, and social media channels and brand-related activities including marketing communications. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability and maturity to collaborate and influence decisions with many stakeholders internally and externally
• 8-10 years work experience (agency & in-house)
• Social media channels across a diverse region and ability to set up metrics/dashboard for measurement/monitoring of activities that define and achieve set KPIs
• English is a must, Chinese (Mandarin) and one other Southeast Asia based language is an advantage
• Candidate to display confidence, ability to communicate, team player and contributor, dependability, determination and brings a fair amount of critical thinking ability
• Member of existing associations like Institute of Public Relations Singapore, International Association of Business Communicators, Singapore
• This role will be based in Hong Kong
