Lead and define the roles & responsibilities and operation workflow between the Corporate and Hotel level Finance Team
Review and ensure monthly hotels’ management reports are prepared according to establish standards and timely delivery
Review financial analyses of hotel operations including variance explanation and make recommendations to ensure the achievement of business targets across all properties and to drive cost efficiency
Validate and measure strategic execution or initiate change to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered
Maximize profitability of hotels through benchmarking of best practices and ensures sound controls and accounting standards are in place as per company Policy & Procedures to safeguard return on investment
Lead the annual hotel’s budgeting process to ensure timely completion
Review annual budget and capex prepared by the hotels
Analyze ROI for capital projects prior to committing funds and upon completion determine if anticipated results were achieved.
Develop and administer audit practices to mitigate business risk and prevent fraudulent practices.
Job Requirements
Degree in Finance or Accountancy
Qualified Chartered Accountant
Minimum 3 years in the Finance, Hotel or related industry in the capacity of a Head of Finance position
Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for details
Good analytical and management skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-working environment
Demonstrates ability to be an effective business partner
